About

My name is Nadine Gabriel. I’m a fourth year MSci Geology student and for the past two and a half years, I have been working with University College London Museums and Collections. So far, I have worked with early 20th century physics instruments, rocks, minerals and fossils from the Geology Collections and zoological specimens. At the moment, I am doing documentation work at UCL’s Grant Museum of Zoology. I have previously written two blog posts for UCL Museums and Collections which you can read here and here.

Over the years, I have collected and purchased hundreds of minerals, rocks and fossils. I will write posts about some of my specimens, especially if they have interesting stories. You can follow tweets about my collection on the #NGCollection hashtag. Related posts are under the NG Collection category.

Pangeology is where I will discuss topics that can’t fit into a 140 character tweet. My posts will be about geology, museums and my personal collection of rocks, minerals and fossils. All views expressed here are my own!
